Thanks for joining me and Kim for the weekly run down. With a busy travel week from DC to LV to Chi I was on the move and often wondering what time zone I was in. Here’s a peek into my frequent flier week from DC to Las Vegas to Chicago.

Sunday-Fly to Las Vegas rest day

I flew to LV today to join my husband who will be there all week for a conference. I made sure to get in a stretch and short core before heading to the airport. You all know how much I love the heat lol and it is 106 in Vegas when I landed.

How many steps does it take to get to my gate? Follow along here

I also hopped into the 1 week intro to meditation Peloton program because I get FOMO. Usually, I am not a meditation person, but they are only 10 minute classes. I can do it!

Monday- Peloton hike class + core

I did not sleep well thanks to the time change and the low humidity. I headed to the gym for a Peloton hike and core class. It was too hot to do anything outside and therefore I walked around in the shops for a few hours

I don’t have a lot of workout photos the first half of the week, so you are getting more of a what I wore this week.

Weekly run down

Tuesday -Peloton tread hike + lots of walking around all day

I hit the tread to make sure that I got in my Peloton workout for the day. Later, I spent a few hours walking around the shops to make sure I got in my steps. Normally, I would have ventured down to the Las Vegas sign but it was just too hot to walk 6 miles there and back. I did make sure to get in 12K steps!

It’s more of what I wore in Vegas with a patriotic theme all week 🇺🇸

Weekly run down

Wednesday -Peloton tread hike + stretch + 14K steps

I got in another tread hike this morning. A friend and I headed out to see the Princess Diana exhibit which included abut 2 miles of walking there. It was interesting and fun to seer. Later, I had another night event to attend. It’s amazing how many steps you get in the hotel walking to and from. I managed to amass over 15K steps. Here is another  what I wore pics.

Weekly run down

Thursday -rest day of sorts

I attended my husband’s conference during the day today and then again at night. We will call it a rest day from formal workouts but not an actual rest. I did get in a stretch class between day and night events and logged a ton of steps walking between events. You can have another pic of my outfits.

Weekly run down

Friday-fly to Chicago for Brooks Running Hype Fest

All of this jet setting is tiring! I flew from Las Vegas to Chicago to meet up with the rest of the Brooks Running Collective for the Hype Fest weekend. I arrived just in time to change and jump into the first run at 7 pm with the new run Viz gear.

Saturday -run and walk all over Chicago!

We started off with a 7 am run walk to Navy Pier (4 miles) for lots of group content with Brooks. Later, we took a tour of some of the art and landmarks led by Wendy for another 3  miles on foot. It was a lot!

Weekly run down

stay tuned for a full recap and phots of the Brooks Hype Fest in Chicago coming Wednesday with a few familiar faces! Needless to say, I am totally wiped and ready to head home today.

Your outfits are amazing! I have to ask about Wednesday’s white dress: are the sleeves connected around the back? It looks very elegant!
Great to see you and Wendy at the Hype fest – looking forward to hearing more.
