Fit Foodie Finds for National Nutrition Month

It’s always fun to check out new to me foods and snacks during National Nutrition Month. I was gifted the 2023 Babbleboxx and excited to check out the goodies. Let’s check it out.

The Secret Nature of Fruit-Fruit® Powered Vitamin Chews

Harnessing the power of real fruits and vegetables to offer a chewable daily vitamin boost. What do I like about these Fruit Powered Vitamin Chews?

Babbleboxx nutrition

-No added sugars or sweeteners

-vegan, gluten free, non GMO

Babbleboxx

The “Beauty” supplements offer a daily boost of essential nutrients CO-Q10 + biotin as well as Vitamins A & E. Biotin helps to promote healthy hair, skin, and nails and I am all about that. My regular daily vitamin does not have biotin or CO-Q10 and these chews are an easy way to add them to my daily routine. The Secret Nature Of Fruits chews have a mild strawberry pomegranate taste naturally sweetened by fruit. A serving is 3 chews daily.

Dole has made a commitment to sustainability with 100% recycled plastic for the bottle and the cap.

CORE bars

I am on a never ending quest to find and taste nutrition bars. CORE bars are plant-based, organic, refrigerated bars with a combination of probiotics and prebiotic fiber. Gut health is at the CORE of their creation.

Babbleboxx

CORE Plant-based Keto + Probiotics Bar

What I like about these “birthday cake” bars:

-The taste! They really do taste like cake with sprinkles.

– Zero added sugar. As someone who is aiming to reduce added sugar, these bars are made with Allulose (a non-artificial) that tastes likes sugar but is not absorbed by your body like sugar.

-Vegan + Keto + Gluten free + Probiotics and PreBiotic Fiber

Babbleboxx

Adaptogen Bars

You may be seeing more foods with Reishi and lion’s mane mushrooms. Why? These “adaptogens” are trendy in foods right now and may help support your body’s response to stress and anxiety and boost your mood. You can find CORE bars in the refrigerated sections of your grocery store or on amazon. They can be stored for up to a week at room temp.

Babbleboxx

Soulless Ginger Ale

Soulless Ginger Ale was designed as a non-alcoholic option for adults who want to socialize without alcohol or a sugar laden soft drink. All the flavors start with cold-presssed ginger base with just a hint of sugar. The Lime, blueberry, and cranberry have an infusion of cold-pressed fruit for a zingy, clean, spicy taste.

Babbleboxx

These make a nice option for a cocktail like feel without the alcohol. I have heard they are great in cocktails as well if that’s how you roll!

-Keto friendly

-vegan

-made with real ginger

Well, YUM! My eyes lit up at the “vegan” and “keto” labels. I don’t follow a ketogenic diet but I know if it says “keto” there’s no sugar. It’s hard to find bars and drinks like this without sugar. I’ll definitely be on the lookout for these bars, and that ginger ale looks good to. I’m always up for a healthier soda alternative.

It really is hard to find bars without sugar! I really liked the keto ones. I don’t follow a keto diet either but these were a good choice for me too

The CORE bars sound like a great find! I like the convenience of bars, but it’s really hard to find some without an excess of sugar OR that taste like stale cardboard… these sound like a perfect solution!

I agree! Most are loaded with sugar

Interesting mix of products! I’m really curious to try the CORE bars – I’m always on the quest to find a good-tasting bar without all of the sugar. Thanks for sharing.

Yes, it really is hard to find good tasting bars without added sugar

Great variety of treats! Since Mr PugRunner’s issues began, we really can’t have a lot of prepackaged snacks or food. He has to avoid so many ingredients that it just makes it stressful.

Oh I totally get that! I try to limit mine as well

What a fun variety! I am interested in the CORE bars. I need to cut down on sugar and these look like a good option.

Cutting sugar is always a great idea!
