Fall is my absolute favorite time to be outside enjoying the weather and the spectacular views. While my kids might be older now, there are still a few fall family activities I hope we will find time to do together this year. Thanks to prAna and Mambo Sprouts for sponsoring this post. All opinions are my own.
Corn Mazes
Some of my most favorite memories are from our adventures in various Corn Mazes over the years. We have gotten so lost and had lots of laughs. They don’t open for a few more weeks but I hope we can still find time to navigate our way through together.
Halloween Decorating
Halloween has always been an event at our house. Even before we had kids, I always looked forward to decorating for Halloween. I love to get dressed up, give out candy and check out all of the costumes. Plus, someone had to taste test it all to make sure it was “safe” for the kids to eat right? I used to pride myself on having the best decorated house on the street. My kids may have outgrown Halloween shenanigans but I am still all in!
Of course, it’s important to be comfortable yet fashionable while joining in on all the fun fall family activities. prAna designs clothing that I can feel good about wearing out on an adventure or out to lunch with friends. The Moto mid rise leggings (pictured) can be dressed up with tall boots or worn on a hike through the corn maze. The plum shade of this Deedra sweater is the perfect piece to layer over a tank. I know I will be reaching for it often this fall.

Zip lining and Obstacle courses
The last few years, our family has loved going zip lining and tackling some obstacle courses together. Last fall, we had a whole day of zip lining through the most beautiful tree lines out in the Virginia countryside. I was completely terrified at first but came out feeling like a pro. Family bonding at it’s best!
Today’s fashionable fitness blogger wants to feel like they are giving back in some way. I feel good about knowing that prAna clothing is mindfully made to support fair trade and sustainable practices. What are your favorite fall family activities?
Linking up
We don’t really celebrate Halloween too much where I live since there arent many kids, but I still give out candy to the 20-30 kids that we get every year, lol. I always love seeing their cute costumes, especially on the little kids!
I’m looking forward to pumpkin spice lattes and apple picking this Fall, you know, once the weather actually feels like Fall, haha
I love giving out candy too plus it’s my excuse to eat some lol. Yes waiting for actual fall temps over here too
I’m loving that sweater on you! I want it to cool off so we can all enjoy our cute prAna clothes!
I know it’s way too warm here to wear them yet. Something to look forward to!
I love apple picking! One of my fall favs. All of these activities sound like a blast!
Now we just need actual fall to arrive!
I really need to zip line. I think 🙂
I love that Deedra sweater so much. It looks so pretty on you!
thanks I love it too hope to be able to wear it soon. Zip lining is so much fun we love it!
I really like that sweater. Loving the color. When my kids were younger we use to go to a fall festival, but now they aren’t interested in going! My mom went zip lining a few months ago. I don’t think I could do it
It is so much fun you basically just sit on the seat and go!
Super cute girl! Love that plum color. I def need to embrace fall more. Thanks for the inspiration.
I love all the plum colors
Gosh, it’s been awhile since we’ve done much for family activities in the fall. We did a lot of pumpkin patches and hay rack rides when the kids were younger. The Halloween costumes were always an absolute must…and I still enjoy dressing up!
I knew you were a dress up for Halloween type of girl!
I used to LOVE obstacle courses as a kid and I can’t wait to set up some fun ones for my future kids 🙂
I was not much into it as a kid but I sure love them now
I really enjoy going to Haunted Houses in the fall but my fiance hates it! I also love all the fall decorations. You look great in the new Prana wear!
The haunted houses always scare me still! Loving the sweater now I just need some cooler temps
I NEED and MUST FIND a corn maze this OCTOBER!!!!! I love mazes! I think it would be SOOOO FUN to do with my husband! LOL
Do you all have corn mazes out there is LaLa land?!
I’m really looking forward to Halloween with my daughter! She’s almost 2 and I think she’ll really enjoy it this year.
yes perfect age! I so miss all of that
I’ve never done a corn maze! Oh wait, I ran through one once. But it was small. But other than that I never have! I might have to change that this year.
They are so much fun!
A corn maze is so much fun! It’s on my fall bucket list 🙂
mine too!
Fall is my favorite season! I love pumpkin patches and fresh, crisp apples and Halloween!
Yes indeed! Now we just need some actual fall weather
Can’t wait for all the fall activities too! Zip lining sounds like so much fun!
We love it!
Love that outfit! I am huge on Halloween as well, I just love all the decorations and costumes.
Me too so much fun!
I love going to fall festivals with my family. I’m thankful that we have a great one right down the street from us that has a ton of activities for all ages.
They are lots of fun when the kiddos are younger enjoy!
I love your outfit, so cute! We’re a week away from Thanksgiving so I’m really looking forward to that especially since we don’t have any hockey or softball that weekend!
That will be a nice break for sure! It’s amazing how much time all of the kids sports can take up
These are all great activities. There is no real fall here in Central Florida, just heat. Love the sweater!
ha yes that is true!
Halloween decorating is at the top of our list! Specially pumpkin carving 🙂 But also a lot of playing in the park with the dog. It was too hot for her during the summer and we have to make up for the time lost.
Hope you all enjoy your family Halloween decorating too!
