It’s been a while since I’ve done a currently post. Maybe it’s the spring flowers and the sunnier days that are helping to motivate me to write more again. As I sit here in my new screened-in porch, I thought I would share what I am up to currently, May 2023.

Currently reading…

I jumped into Lessons In Chemistry book this week and it’s a fun read so far. I’ve seen so many people reading it on planes and trains and beaches. I knew I needed to start it before it comes out as an Apple TV series this fall. I pre-ordered the new Elin Hildebrand book that come out in June so I’ve gotta finish it asap.

Currently watching…

Speaking of Apple TV shows. We are anxiously awaiting the finale of the “the last thing he told me” with Jennifer Garner. The book was so good and the show is pretty true to the story line. I love Jennifer Garner in the role.

We also finished The Diplomat which was very good but extremely unrealistic. Being a DC native, we do like the political type shows. Fun fact, I actually stayed at an ambassador’s residence years ago in Italy. It was an amazing experience albeit nothing like the TV show. Having said that, Keri Russell is amazing in the role and it’s a great watch.

Currently listening to…

After watching the “Air” movie on Netflix, I headed over to Spotify to download the playlist. If you are an 80’s music fan, it doesn’t get much better. The movie was okay and the story was interesting. I am just not the biggest Nike fan in general.

Lessons in Chemistry was a fun read! I’m looking forward to seeing the series. And thanks for the reminder about Jennifer Garner’s show – I forgot they turned that book into a series too. I enjoyed the book and she’s a fave of mine!

    Your new porch looks great!

This is a fun post! I am not a Nike fan either but the movie did spike my interest. But the soundtrack is one to definitely listen to as I love 80s music. Your porch looks amazing!

Air was fantastic and the music was perfect.

Lessons In Chemistry is destroying me. I am so emotionally triggered every time I pick it up, so I can only do a few pages at a time. I don’t know why it’s hitting me so hard.

maybe it is just not the right time for you to read it for whatever reason. Maybe come back to it later. So many other options out there that can make you smile
