Thanks for joining Sarah and I for Meatless Monday. I’ve got something a little different for you today! With with insane heat we are having, I’ve been experimenting with some cool drinks and I’ve found a winner. With some easy preparation and a few ingredients, you can enjoy this healthy Blueberry Iced Tea Spritzer any day of the week.
Perhaps you have had one of those days lately. You know what I mean- it’s hot as can be out there, kids are starting to get bored with summer, laundry piling up and the family is already asking what’s for dinner. On days like these, if you can just have a few minutes to enjoy some alone time with a nice cool indulgence, it can make a world of difference. Enter my easy Blueberry Iced Tea Spritzer.
I found lots of flavor choices of Bigelow Tea at my local Walmart right in the coffee aisle. I settled on Wild Blueberry with Acai and Perfect Peach to create my spritzer. You could really use any of the flavors here as well. With no added sugar or artificial sweeteners they are a great healthy choice for me.
I love to use frozen fruit ice cubes to spruce up my drinks and along with Bigelow Iced tea and sparkling water it’s the perfect combination. I created the most delicious summer spritzer in just 5 easy steps.
5 Steps to the perfect Blueberry Iced Tea Spritzer
-Prepare your iced tea just right according the easy video directions here
-Using an ice cube tray, fill with 4-6 fresh blueberries into each cube
-Add cranberry juice to fill
-Freeze at least 2 hours & place into glasses
-Fill with 1/2 iced tea 1/2 sparkling water
Refreshing, healthy and delicious! The fresh blueberries pair so well with the tartness of the cranberry juice and the subtle flavor of the iced teas. This Blueberry Iced Tea Spritzer makes for the perfect healthy everyday summer indulgence. Hope you enjoy!
