Air Fryer Everything Bagel Spiced Pumpkin Seeds
Don’t let those tasty pumpkin seeds go to waste when you carve your pumpkins. Pumpkin seeds make an easy and nutritious snack for the whole family. Of course, they are so many ways to spice them up but everything bagel spice is my personal fave.
Why eat pumpkin seeds?
Pumpkin seeds are known for their high fiber and protein content accompanied by high levels of magnesium. They are rich in antioxidants and are considered a great food to help regulate blood pressure. Note, like many seeds and nuts they are high in calories. It is important to watch your portion sizes.
What is everything bagel spice?
Simply it is that delish combo of seasonings that coats your EBS bagel. It is easy to buy a spice blend that is ready to use or simply mix up your own. This is easy to do with an equal combination of salt, sesame seeds. poppy seeds, onion, and garlic powder, and salt. I prefer to buy it ready to go.
How do I make these pumpkin seeds in an air fryer?
Super simple! After a drizzle of olive oil or avocado oil and a toss with everything bagel spice, layout your seeds into the air fryer basket. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 20 minutes. Check your seeds after 10 minutes and give them a stir. As air fryers do vary, it is important to check on them. They can go from crispy to burnt in seconds.
Can I make them in a regular oven?
Yes, definitely! Simply follow the directions and. bake at 350 degrees on a cookie sheet pan. I would line it with parchment paper for easy removal and clean-up.
A few Tips for pumpkin seeds
Make sure to rinse as much of the pumpkin flesh from your seeds. I put them in a colander and rinse them. Then, lay them out on some paper towels and allow to dry thoroughly before roasting,

Easy, healthy snack idea! These air fryer everything bagel spiced pumpkin seeds are a crowd pleaser. 3 ingredients, vegan, gluten free, diary free
Ingredients
- 2 Cups of fresh pumpkin seeds
- olive oil/avocado oil to coat
- 2 Tsp Everythign Bagel Spice
Instructions
- Remove pumpkin seeds from pumpkin and rinse
- place on paper towel and allow to dry
- drizzle with oil
- toss with spice blend
- place on air fryer basket
- cook at 375 degrees for approx 20 min
- check after 10 min and stir
- check again after another 5 min
Notes
All air fryers are slightly different. Check seeds often to avoid burning. Can keep up to a week in an airtight container

We haven’t carved pumpkins in a few years, but I’ve tried several times to toast pumpkin seeds and they always turn out soggy & chewy. I’ve dried the seeds, but maybe I didn’t have the oven temp high enough (?). I need to try it again…and with this spice blend 🙂

Yes, maybe trying the oven at a higher temp will help. Also, make sure they are really dry
