Thanks for joining me and Kim for the weekly run down. This week, I am managing my Trifecta of Peloton challenges and really enjoying checking things off of my to do list!

A trifecta of Peloton challenges Weekly Run Down

Sunday- 1 hour pool running class + Peloton core

I had a nice sleep in and then met my friend for a fluid running workout in our pool. It was humid and it felt great to be in the pool. I also got in my Peloton core workout for the day. So far my trifecta of Peloton programs is going strong for week 2. (Rebecca’s split, raise the “barre” and Marty’s August core challenge)

Monday- 2.5 mile walk + 45 min upper body pull + core + stretch

I started off m week with a mornin walk with a friend. Later, it was week 2 of Rebecca’s 3 day split with upper body pull. A quick core gave me a check on the august core challenge.

Weekly run down

Tuesday- 3.5 miles run/walk + stretch + barre class

This humidity is just obnoxious at this point! LOL. Running is just very challenging right now so I am glad I have other pursuits to feel good at. I finished week 1 of the “raised the barre” program.

Weekly rundown

Wednesday-Peloton walk + Lower body strength + core + afternoon walk

Leg day week 2 of my split program felt a lot better. Yes, I do expect to be sore tomorrow but I felt good doing it. Later, I took an afternoon walk as I know that the weather is going to be sucky the next few days. Finished week one of Matty”s August Core challenge. My Trifecta of Peloton challenges is going well so far!

Weekly run down

Thursday-active rest day-yoga, stretch & Pilates

We awoke to pretty heavy rain from the remnants of hurricane Debby. Outdoor running was out. I had a small thing frozen off of my face yesterday and I look Like I have herpes or something on my lip lol. Anyway, it was the perfect day for active rest. Not to worry, I got in a great Peloton stack of Pilates, core, yoga and a stretch class. No photo today ha!

Friday-Peloton walk + upper body pull + barre + core

I had the best sleep in! It was pouring rain all day thanks to the tropical storm. I finished week 2 of my strength split, started week 2 of the barre split and kept up the core challenge. Whew!

Weekly run down

Saturday- Peloton walk + core + barre + afternoon walk

Peloton walk to start off the morning followed by core and day 2 week 2 of barre challenge. Later, my friend and I headed out for another walk with our weighted vests.

ISO MY RUNNING MOJO-If you see it, please send it my way!

It sounds like you need some cooler weather to get your mojo back! It sure made a difference for me. I could use some of that sleep you’ve been getting though!

Great! Something different every day. I love Nordic walking. I do this sport all year round. In winter I only need warmer clothes and woolen gloves to not stop doing it despite bad weather. A good mental attitude, clothes and equipment are the basis of any sport.

Hopefully the break in the weather will make running more enticing!

I hope you review the barre program!

great job – hopefully the better weather means feeling better about working out. great weather makes such a difference! Barre always intrigues me, so I’m interested in it.

Sounds like you’re doing great even without running. The heat will pass, and you can run as much as you want then! I’m still intrigued by this weighted vest. I though about you while I was traveling- I did some airport walks with my heavy backpack, and it really got my heart rate up. I may have to look into this!

the weighted walks are definitely working for me right now. My review is coming out this week.

I was doing a core challenge (not sure if it’s the same one as you?), but bailed already on Day-4. I was having trouble getting down (and back up) off the floor with my achy shoulder. I’m still doing some core work on my own, though. It was too frustrating trying to modify the moves on the “stacks” I’d chosen and didn’t have time to find replacement classes. I hope the MOJO returns soon!!

I am doing Matty’s core challenge. Sorry your shoulder was giving you so much grief. Sounds like you are on the mend

I totally get that the humidity is preventing you from running, so yay for pool as an option and also tackling three (!) programs. Way to go.

I bet your running mojo will return when the temps drop a little! My Garmin has been complaining about my sleep lately. I need to get more!
