A Spooky few Days In Las Vegas Weekly Run Down

Wow how is it November already!? thanks for joining me and Kim for the weekly run down. This week I headed to Las Vegas to join my husband for some work stuff. Not to worry, That did not keep me from getting in my workouts. Here’s a peek into my week.

A spooky few days in Las Vegas Weekly Run Down

Sunday- rest day stretch and Pilates

It was a planned, getting things done rest day that included a Peloton stretch and short walk. Afternoon football of course!

Monday-full body strength + weight vest power walk

After a great night of sleep, I was ready to hit it hard in the gym. Today’s full body strength class was spicy. I enjoyed the off set squats and curls. Basically, holding dumbbells of different weights in each hand to encourage more balance work. Harder than it sounds!

Tuesday-weighted pack walk + upper body strength + stretch

I’m feeling stronger using the heavier ruck pack and took it out for a longer 3 mile hilly walk. I followed that up with an upper body strength class and a late day stretch.

Wednesday-fly to Las Vegas

I headed out to Las Vegas to meet my husband for his yearly conference. It’s a long almost 5 hour flight and it helped to get lots of steps in once I arrived. It was a challenge to stay up for dinner and beat the 3 hour time change.

Fun selfie spot in the hotel-off to see the wizard…

Thursday-Peloton cycle + lower body strength + walking everywhere

I never sleep well here due the dryness I think. Anyway, this hotel has one of my favorite gyms and I was up and at it earlier than my usual. No pics allowed in the gym here so-While I did not take this photo today, it is one of my favorite Halloween rituals.

I walked all around all afternoon before heading to my husband’s work event.

Friday-Peloton full body strength + lots of walking

I hit the gym again for a full body strength class and did lots more walking around. Later, I had another evening event. My feet are not enjoying wearing heels 3 days in a row.

The Sphere at night never fails to amaze -view from my room

Saturday-rest day

I spent most of the day attending my husband’s work conference and doing the wife thing. With a short break between that and the evening event, I took a stretch class and packed. Heading back home Sunday am!

Looks like a fun time in Vegas! But when is it not? Great job getting all your workouts in while away from home!

I haven’t seen the sphere in person but it is so cool. I like when they have it as an emoji — so silly!

My husband is coming with me on a conference trip and does NOT want to do the “husband thing” — I think I’ll manage to drag him to a few events.

    Safe travels today!

Sounds like a fun few days away, even if it was a work event for your husband. The Sphere is so cool, though I’ve not seen it in person. Safe travels home!

Sounds like a fun time- AND you got your workouts in. Perfect combination. But you’re making my feet hurt, talking about wearing heels three days in a row. Ouch!

Wow, the Sphere looks amazing! You went to see the Wizard of Oz there? My coworker just went to that and really enjoyed it. She said there was a lot of themed areas throughout Las Vegas which really added to the experience. Bonus that you had a nice gym to workout in although I’m sure all of the walking around was a lot!
