I almost forgot about the February 2024 Runfessions and Confessions post! Alas, I got it in just in time. Often, I think I have nothing to write about for these posts, so let’s see what I can come up with. Thanks to Marcia for hosting.
February 2024 Confessions and Runfessions
I Confess and Runfess…
It is rare that I can go to our local grocery store without running into someone that I know. So, I admit that twice recently I drove to a slightly more out of the way store to grab a few things after I threw on a pair of sweats and was makeup free. Okay, reading this back it probably makes me seem much more vain than I really am! Sometimes you just want to go grab that milk and lettuce that you need.
A few weeks ago, I ran into a woman in the dairy aisle and for the life of me could not remember her name. She knew me though and after a few minutes, I realized it was a woman from the MRTT running group but still could not remember her name or anything about her. Technically, we have about 1000 members so I don’t know them all.
I Runfess and Confess…
You do not realize what a luxury having a dishwasher is until you don’t have one. LOL. Our dishwasher broke and by the time we had a repair come, and get back up and running with a new washer, it was almost two weeks. Who wants to wash dishes by hand after dinner? And do they really get clean enough when you do wash them by hand?
Just when I thought I had nothing for this 2024 Runfessions and Confessions to share. Thanks for humoring me and see you next week for the Ultimate Coffee Date.
LOL, there’s a woman who works at my firm and I ONLY see her at the grocery store!
I feel ya with the dishwasher. We are hoping our washing machine holds out while we pick out a new one — I am not handwashing clothes!!
Oh yes the washer would definitely be a necessity!
I can totally that’s to your incident with the gal! I’m great with faces, and can usually remember where I’ve met peeps. But, recalling their names is another ball game. Thankfully, I’m pretty good at faking my way through a conversation until the light bulb goes off in my brain, LOL.
I run into former students all the time. Of course they remember me, but they had only one French teacher. I often have o idea who they are.
When we had our kitchen redone – we used paper plates and lots of take out. LOL
