Thanks for joining me and Kim for the weekly run down. We finished up our mini vacation in Las Vegas before heading home for some more birthday fun. Life is living and celebrating! Here’s a peek into my week of fitness and fun this red rocks and double birthday week.
Red Rocks and Double Birthday Weekly Run Down
Sunday- full body strength + core
Waking up in Vegas after a late night last night at the Sphere. The Eagles put on quite a show and the sphere is really just like nothing else. I had kind of a lazy morning and then hit the hotel gym for a full body workout.
Monday-Hiking in Red Rocks
Hiking in Red Rocks never disappoints, It was a gorgeous day to take in all the natural beauty. We had a fabulous tour guide who took great care of us. We even spotted a herd of big horn sheep which was pretty spectacular.
Tuesday-fly home to DC
I ate too much, drank too much, stayed up way past my bedtime and did lots of shopping. The perfect double birthday celebration.
Wednesday-rest day
One of my besties took me to a new infrared sauna and float tank place in Georgetown for a birthday gift. We really enjoyed our relaxing experience. You see all about it here on IG.
Thursday- 5 mile birthday run
Back with a few of my running besties for a fun birthday run in DC. I do love a good monument run.
Later, I had a nice dinner with my son and husband before watching the Eagles football game. they made me homemade spinach ravioli.
Friday-Peloton full body strength + core
After a late night of Eagles football, I accidentally slept in until almost 10 am! I guess I needed that after the time change from Las Vegas. It was a great workout with my buddy Andy on Peloton.
Saturday-Peloton barre and core
We do love to extend our birthday celebrations and are hosting a big double birthday party tonight. I doubt I will get any photos in before this posts.
Life is for living after all and every day is a gift! Thankful and grateful to be celebrating with my family and friends.

What a fantastic birthday celebration! We hiked at Red Rocks in 2019 when we vacationed in Southern Utah. We flew in and out of Las Vegas and hiked at Red Rocks before making our way to Utah. That hotel gym looks amazing!
