I am not a New Year’s Resolution girl for many of the reasons I stated here last year however I do like to think about small ways that I can enhance my health on a daily basis. I’ve compiled a quick and easy list of 17 ways to start off 2017 on a healthier note. Many of them I already do and many I am going to try to do more myself in the coming year.
17 Ways to Start Off 2017 on a Healthier Note
Get more Sleep
Schedule Workouts in your weekly calendar
Try a new exercise class or activity
Set smaller more achievable goals
Go Meatless 1 or more days per week
Take walk breaks throughout the day
Schedule some “me time” each week
Do more of what makes you happy
Get rid of negativity in your life
Cut yourself some slack
Learn the art of saying NO sometimes
Declutter a closet or drawer
Eat the rainbow
Say something positive to yourself every night before bed
Those are a few of the small things I will be trying to do in the coming year. Some of them come very easily to me such as eating the rainbow, going meatless and scheduling my workouts. Others are very challenging for me most notably #13, #17 #11 #10 #11.
