Having a little fun with the Valentine theme this week! All of us mother runners know that we make the best Valentine’s Day dates and here’s why:

We like to get our heart rate up
It’s so easy to convince us that we could use a little more cardio. We will probably even wear our fitbits or heart rate monitors just to make sure we get credit for extra exercise.
We love to mix it up-
Sometimes we like it “long and slow” and sometimes we just need to get it done “short and fast”.
We don’t mind who finishes first-
Who am I kidding-of course we do!
We are so easy to shop for
Skip the flowers! What we really want are new running shoes, race entries and carbs lots of carbs.
We are always up for trying something new
Had to throw that one in there right? Enough said!
