It’s always fun to look back at some of the workouts I loved from this past year. With everyone crazy busy this week, I thought it was the perfect time to pull out some of my favorites. Whether you are looking to work your core, mix up your cardio or do a quick killer glute routine, I’ve got you covered.
When training for my tri races this past summer, instead of always doing traditional brick workouts I came up with a way to mix it up to not only make it less boring but also more of a challenge. A traditional “brick” workout is usually a bike ride followed by a run. Here, I am doing shorter bike/run combos and repeating them. Whether or not you are training for a tri race, brick workouts are a great way to break up the monotony and up the intensity.
Core workouts don’t have to be crazy to be good! Sometimes sticking to the basics is the way to go. I incorporate these basic moves into most of my strength training days. It’s an easy do anywhere core routine that is also great post run.
One of my favorite workouts is this killer no equipment glute routine. This is so much harder than it looks and you will feel it the next day-I promise!
After just reading this again, I just decided to do it myself today! I am on vacation with my family and I need to stay on track.
What’s your favorite no equipment workout?
